Vandana
has been teaching Yoga for almost 10 years.She deepened her own Yoga practice by studying TriYoga since 2009 and now holds certifications from Basics up to Level 3 (YogaAlliance).
The unique style of TriYoga fascinated her dancer heart. Sensitivity and power are both companions in this flowing yoga style which founds it`s 3-dimensional movements on very clear structures. In 2012 she began offering TriYoga teacher trainings in Germany and continues to study with Kali Ray, the founder of TriYoga. She also guides pre-natal TriYoga courses.
After graduating from Essen Folkwang in Germany with a contemporary dance degree, she worked as a professional dancer in Europe and Japan. In 2012, together with Michael Dick, she co-founded ‘The School for Movement,’ which offers Amerta movement experience.schule-der-bewegung.net
Vandana considers herself to be a student in and of life. Her passion to learn and grow inspires her to regularly attend trainings and workshops in order to improve her teaching skills. In order to further deepen her understanding of holistic and integrative approach’s, Vandana has trained in BodyMindCentering® (somatic movement), Thai Yoga Massage (Sunshine Network), Acro, and Partner Yoga. The different techniques round out her teaching background in regard of ease of embodiment, non-verbal communication, with a special emphasis on touch during alignment assistance and massage. Vandana’s wish to focus more specifically on the healing of old psychic emotional patterns led her to complete a training in ‘Psychology of Vision-Steps-to-Leadership’ in 2017.
All of her Education informs her classes and she's is able to adapt a personalized yoga class to the students and their individual needs. In her private sessions the focus is even more specific to ones personal needs and wishes. TriYoga offers a therapeuthic approach in supporting ones body and mind and It can also be practiced as a powerful workout. Sessions take place at your convenience in the comfort of your home with a sequence tailor-made for you.

Vandana’s love and interest for Yoga has been influenced by the fine sound of Mantras. Since 1999 she began traveling to India where she stays in different ashrams to deepen her own spiritual experience and understanding. In her free time, Vandana loves to study Classical Indian music or participate at contact dance jams, yoga and dance festivals.
